Ok, so i use Twitter a lot, and i tell my clients to use Twitter (alot)… so why is that most of them choose not to?
“Well, for one thing Twitter can take up a huge amount of time, updates can be anything from useless (if your following the wrong people) to compelling (if you follow the right ones) and if a friend or business guru posts something you agree with, you want to ReTweet it and tell others about it and that can take up time. You get a kick out of every follower and even more so out of every one that responds to your questions or ideas, its like being part of a community that cares about what you are saying and for alot of business owners, this community is not only their peers.. but their loyal customers. You nod your head or shrug and say that the time you feel you need to be spending considering your ROI is being wasted on updates about “eating a sandwich on the beach”… it doesnt have to be AND it shouldnt be”.
Consider this. Each and every follower - is a customer, or a potential one, would time spent on Twitter be such a waste then?. I agree that your time spent Tweeting has to be focused or else, like

Twitzu - Create an event or run a promotion free on Twitter
twtQpon - Create your own money off coupons for your products and add them to Twitter
Twubble - Find freinds based on those that you follow and your followers - nice tool
