How to setup myRwerite Pro

Step 1.

Download and Install the software.

Step 2.

Activate the software

Step 3.

Load the Manager Utility,

Locate the site for which you wish to activate the myRewrite Isapi filter. Once located select the “root” node, you will notice the physical path is displayed in the panel on the right, you should insert the extension for the file type that you would like to rewrite too. Click Apply.

Step 4.

Test the installation by navigating to the default file via your browser i.e. www.testing.com/default.asp, now remove the extension, i.e. www.testing.com/default . The page should still load as usual and not offer a 404 error.
