- Ask for recommendations openly from people who have worked with you

- Add a link to your profile within your email signature and your business cards
- Add a linked in plugin to your outlook so you can add contacts automatically
- Promote your LinkedIn URL on your business website
- Use the new tools such as Amazon reading to create interest amongst your contacts
