Do you need to convert user submitted video to the Flash Video (.flv) format? Our myVideoTrans application is ideal if you want your users to share their generated videos via your website, à la youtube!

What is it?

It’s an application that runs on your server monitoring a specific directory waiting for your users to upload their video content. Once a video file has been uploaded the software looks for the existence of a control file. If this file exists the content is used to define various aspects of the conversion to the FLV format. If the control file does not exist default values are used.

Importantly once the user video file has been trans coded the important timeframe’s meta-data is inserted for progressive “seekable” streaming later.

Installation is performed by one of our technicians on a server of your choice, once installed we supply details allowing you to configure the service yourself.
