Create PDF documents….
Monday, April 6th, 2009Have you ever needed to create a PDF document from a webpage or custom application?
Yes, me too!
Media Modus produces a commercial product called myPDF, you may know that I have a personal version too (pdfGen), I originaly posted to my blog http://www.jasonwhite.co.uk/2006/07/08/xml-pdf-generator/. This version is free to use, however there is no support available for it although I may respond to the odd email if im not eating a sandwich. (more…)

We keep learning…
Wednesday, April 1st, 2009It’s been a few weeks since my last post relating to our iPhone development, we are still waiting for Apple to do their thing and approve our application to the “developer program“, I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas. Anyhow, for the time being we have satisfied ourselves with a few books the main one being “Beginning iPhone Development” published by Apress, it’s a good book and the examples are clear and concise.
We have built our “Hello World” application and have long surpassed it, we have been concentrating on fetching XML data over the internet. The cocoa/object c language is not to difficult to understand especially if you have experience with something like C#, Delphi Pascal or similar. I have found the SDK interface something to get used to, it feels somewhat clunky, however, I’m sure that’s just because I’m new to Apple/iPhone development.
Soon I hope to release some source code of our test apps, is this something you would be interested to see?
Chat soon.
